They met five years ago in college at The University of Toledo, and like any perfect couple, they had a mutual dislike of each other at first : ). He was a percussionist that tapped on everything and she was a stuck up diva-soprano-in-training who couldn't read rhythms and dragged every tempo! Over the years they grew as musicians and developed a friendship. In 2009 they both returned to UT for their master of music degrees and quickly became best friends and then fell in love!

In August of 2010 Aaron moved to Iowa City, IA to finish his Master of Music at The University of Iowa while Janet finished up her Master of Music in Toledo. It was a hard semester, but they got through it and it was a wonderful experience that brought them closer than they ever thought possible. Aaron proposed on November 20th and of course Janet said yes!

Janet graduated with her Master's in December and moved to Iowa City, not just to be with the love of her life, but to pursue her DMA at The University of Iowa as well.

The happy couple will start their life together in the cold snowy tundra of Iowa City, IA; where they will live for the next three years, or until Janet finishes her DMA : ). And from there.....who knows, maybe Phoenix!!!

We are having a very small civil ceremony on January 7th 2011 at 2:00pm in Iowa City, IA and then we are planning a very large reception in Toledo, Ohio in the summer of 2011 for all our family and friends.

Detroit Metro Airport and Toledo Airport are the closest airports for guests to fly in to. The Ramada Inn has several rooms that will be held under the name Ziegler Wedding for any guests that wish to stay at the hotel as early as Thursday night through the weekend. The Crystal's Lounge in the hotel has wonderful food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there are several restaurants nearby. Please direct all questions about area dining and activities to the front desk of the hotel.
